PRELOM 08 is an ultra-thick magazine containing a selection of the best essays and articles written for the PRELOM series since the journal was founded in 2001. Woven together and translated into English, this international issue gives critical perspectives on cultural, social and political practice in today's former-Yugoslavian context for a large audience beyond former Yugoslavia.

This issue was made possible after the PRELOM koloktiv had established itself as an independent organisation in 2005. As an independent platform, PRELOM kolektiv now has the administrative infrastructure to commission the design, translation, editing and publication of the PRELOM journal.
