Hey Marc,

We already tried last time to provide them with multi-entry visas and people in the ambassy did not pay any attention to our requests… My experience from a few previous occasions where we were trying the do same thing for other people  is that in principle this does not work. ECF is not a big enough player in this visa game to be taken seriously on this level.  I am really sorry about it, but my feeling is that it would be waist of time to try. Esspecialy that I would have to lie about the reason why are we asking for it now and not in September. To do that when it is almost certain that it will not work - it does not make sense.

take care

Hej Igor,

There a request from Ivan Lazarevic, Omnicom, to help them with a practical visa issue. They need to be travelling to EU regularly this next half year (in September we’re planning a meeting with them for the follow-up of the AlmostWeb and if this gets on speed they’ll have to come a couple of times more).

Their request is whether we can help them getting NOW a multi-entry visum to Ivan for the next half year. He asks us to get it now, because he has problems going to Slovenia for a meeting at the end of this month (there is a 1 month waiting for a visa, and he needs it immediately).

Could you help via ECF to obtain him urgently a multi-entry visum? That would also make the planning of our next meetings within AlmostReal with him much easier? Is this possible?

Let us know,

ciao,

Marc

Subject: a bit urgent

Hi Marc,

Now, I have a rather urgent matter. Weíve got a potentially good business deal starting in Slovenia, with Krka pharmaceutical company. This year we were building a clinical research data management system, and there is a good opportunity to sell our services to Krka. For this, I will need to travel to Slovenia by the end of this month, and I canít get the Slovenian visa, because they schedule visa interviews for almost a month ahead. I phoned them today, I canít get the interview sooner than July 6th, and that is impossible because Iím leaving for Montenegro two days after that and I already have everything booked etc. And if I canít go, the deal is in risk…

So what Iím asking you, since I am going to come to Holland anyway this year, to help me by sending me an invitation to get a multiple entry visa for Holland for a period of six months or something like that. I suppose that ECF can do that, if they want to. I remember that last time we asked you to help Milos, the problem was with your annual income and limit to number of visits imposed by this. I totally understand your position there, but somehow I think that ECF doesnít have that kind of problem.

The only thing needed for a longer visa is proof of a long-term cooperation, which we already have in the contract which we signed. And I already have half a dozen Dutch visas in the last few years, they can trust me, Iím not a terrorist :) This would make my life a lot easier, and would also save a bit of money and time, because a multiple visa costs the same as a single visa. So, could you please see with ECF if they are willing to do this for me? I would have asked Igor directly, but I donít know him that well…

If it is not possible then I would have to ask people at Krka to see if they can pull some strings in the Belgrade embassy, but that is my last resort because I donít really know them at all and I donít think they would be willing to do that.

Ciao

Ivan
