Right now, we are working to bring ALMOSTweb into being as ALMOSTREAL's online platform. In the next few months, a completely new platform is being developed, set to be launched during spring 2007. You will not have to wait that long to see it emerging, however. The development team (Ana Dzokic, Igor Dobricic, Marc Neelen and Wietske Maas, the web-developer Ivan Lazarevic and information designer Auke Touwslager) will bring you step-by-step its new possibilities online, so you can see what it is, how it works and can help us to improve it for your needs. ALMOSTweb researches the necessities, potentials and effects of what ALMOSTREAL can do as a project within the programs section of the ECF. To be able to document, discuss and open this process of research, a method and supporting structure is needed. Through ALMOSTweb, this methodology and supporting structure is explored and set up. Currently at its early development phase, soon it will be able to facilitate the research process in a more sophisticated way while at the same moment opening the ALMOSTREAL project up to a broader, less specialised audience. How this will be achieved is documented in this report.
