De Balie centre for culture and politics is a platform for all kinds of media and audiences. It is located in a former law court on the Leidseplein in Amsterdam. De Balie has 3 audiotoriums, where, on a daily basis there are debates, seminars, theatre and film presentations concentrated on cultural, social and political questiuons.
De Balie hosted the first 2 sessions of the AlmostReal Amsterdam getogether in July 2005.
