PRELOM kolektiv was established as an independent organisation and publisher in mid-2005. The collective produces a journal, entitle 'PRELOM' at regular intervals. Each PRELOM issue promotes an artwork, created as a consequence of a "close encounter", mutual reactions and coupling of art and theory. Besides its theoretical pursuits, PRELOM kolektiv is laying the foundations for developing activities beyond the production of the PRELOM journal, PRELOM kolektiv are initiating related exhibitions, discussions, etc., in conjunction with contemporary local and translocal art scenes.
