Kuhinja (serbo-croatian for 'kitchen') is a weekly television programme about alternative culture in Bosnia-Herzegovina and the former Yugoslavia. Kuhinja is produced by SCCA/ pro.Ba. and is broadcast on Bosnian state television. Kuhinja's history began when SCCA/pro.Ba was commissioned by the primary Bosnian state television channel to produce a series of 30 minute television programmes on themes, concerns and the phenomenon of different underground cultures.
SCCA/ pro.Ba’s contribution in the context of ALMOSTREAL stage 1 addresses the issue of confrontation as a theme throughout several of its ‘Kuhinja’ television programmes. The Kuhinja programme also made several TV reports which documented the other ALMOSTREAL1 activities and processes as organized by PRELOM, WHW, and kuda.org. In so doing, Kuhinja/pro.Ba conveyed issues concerning cultural confrontation and how aesthetic practices in the Bosnian-Herzegovinan context and neighbouring regions are questioning existing limits in both local and wider communities.
On this page you can find information about activities that have been organised as part of ALMOSTREAL. You can see what type of activity it is (an exhibition, discussion, etc.) and if an activity resulted in a certain product or linked media files, you can find information about that too. Finally, the tag field shows some keywords that can be associated to this activity.
