Political practices of (post) Yugoslav art is a new research project in which the stage 1 organisations continue their collaboration by mapping the historical socio-political and economic conditions and heritage which led towards present constellation of art practices, intellectual and cultural production in post-socialist spaces of the former Yugoslavia. Their research into political practices into the history of (post) Yugoslav art aims to make a sturdy shift from the paradigm of art as a product or process that represents politics to art as a political practice.
'Political practices of (post) Yugoslav Art' was promoted on 8 December 2006 during the promotion of the book 'Omitted History' at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina (Former Museum of Socialists Revolution), Novi Sad, Serbia
