From 2 July – 3 July, contemporary dance platform alkantara organised a preparatory meeting for the research project 'It Will Be What We Make'. 'It Will Be What We Make' is an experimental project that explores the research aspects related to open-source, self-organisation and collective work formats between artists from different disciplinary and cultural fields.
It was an occassion for participants to meet each other and to connect their interests, to discuss potentialities and also to get a sense of the location — a former factory — where the group will realise their collective research project later this year.

"Collaboration is not a topic, nor an imposition, but a potential. Of course, we jointly will run an artistic process for three weeks, so I imagine that there will be collaboration happening on various levels of intensity and density." (Mark Deputter)
