Pages Magazine is a platform for collaboration and exchange between artists and writers from Iran and elsewhere. It aims to investigate and prompt discussions about the issues artists face in different cultural climates on both the personal micro context and the macro-global level, thus dealing with the problem of translation of contexts and languages.
Pages is a bi-lingual (Farsi/English) magazine for art and culture. Artists Nasrin Tabatabai and Babek Afrassiabi (originally from Tehran, now based in Rotterdam), published the first issue of the magazine in 2004. Pages maintains an active perpective on what’s happening in Iran’s cultural-artistic climate. But also, addressing local issues encountered in Iran as a means to talk about a certain reality, and in turn, to contrast and compare these differences with cultural and artistic practices and discussions in other contexts.
PagesMagazine featured an article about ALMOSTREAL in their 5th issue of PagesMagazine, 'On the Verge of Vertigo', August 2006.
