Peter Moertenboeck and Helge Mooshammer of Networked Cultures (a project of the Department of Visual Cultures, Goldsmiths College, London) interviewed Igor Dobricic about the main goals of ALMOSTREAL as a networking project, and how this relates to the ECF's mission more generally.
"…Often the results of funding are not sustainable in the long run. It happens that [a funder] funds a certain activity in a part of Europe where there are less resources available, then when the moment the funder pulls out, this activity breaks down because there is nobody to take over. So, the major strategy of the ALMOSTREAL project in that respect is to support a kind of networking between artists and practitioners that will sustain each individual organisation better through their exchange of information…” Igor Dobricic in an interview for Networked Cultures.
