The German Commission for UNESCO (Deutsche UNESCO kommission, or 'DUK'), based in Bonn, is a National Commission established as part of the UNESCO Constitution, and is thus the link between Germany and UNESCO. The DUK acts as an intermediary of foreign cultural and educational policy responsible for providing information and for public awareness activities in German on all of UNESCO’s areas of work.
