Swiss Cultural Programme Macedonia / PRO HELVETIA Skopje supports projects by cultural organisations and associations, and creative workers in the field of contemporary culture: music, theatre, dance, literature and visual arts. Swiss Cultural Programme Macedonia / PRO HELVETIA Skopje is working on a programme to support Macedonian culture, the process of establishing and developing independent organisations, the enrichment of bilateral and multilateral collaborations in the cultural sphere in Macedonia and the region.
From 2005 to early 2006, ALMOSTREAL met with Pro Helvetia Skopje to exchange experiences in cultural funding realities and possibilities in the Balkan region. Both discussed a funding partnership to further support the stage 1 organisations. Although this partnership did not happen, Pro Helvetia did independently support a publication by kuda.org on the advice of ALMOSTREAL.
