In response to Igor's reflections on the Blue House and the need for spaces of hospitable emptiness when creating artistic work, artist Daniela Paes Leão wrote from the perspective of her experience of working in the Blue House. In her email, Daniela speaks about the non-definitive function of the Blue house which gives the house a "flexible structural character" that allows it to host new and creative possibiities, and indeed a hospitality for the unexpected.
