An instance of collaboration arose between PRELOM kolektiv in Belgrade and WHW curatorial collective in Zagreb. In october 2005, PRELOM kolektiv were invited by WHW to guest edit the eigth issue of their Nova Gallery Newspaper. The release of this newspaper coincided with the transfer and opening of the exhibition 'The Continuous Art Class' in Zagreb, January 2006 and addressed the production of cultural capital.
"What connects the different phenomena of progressive, collaborative, socially engaged non-institutional cultural practices is opposition to dominant models of representation, and attempts at the preservation and creation of a public space which is diminishing and being threatened by privatisation, capital, the ideology of national culture, and pragmatic demands posed on the way to European integration....Within this grand project of bringing the Balkans closer to the standards of the Western liberal-capitalistic order, it is culture that plays a crucial role and regional collaborations are the favoured model. In such a situation the question of cultural capital produced in these transactions becomes urgent. This then is the subject of the issue of the Gallery Nova newsletter, edited by Belgarde-based magazine PRELOM"
