Part 1: this research on more than 70 locations in the city of Lisbon used for performing arts and dance festival Dancas na cidade / Alkantara in the period 1993-2007. Numerous locations, from theaters, former factories, abandoned buildings, cultural places, public spaces, (botanical) gardens, private houses, were during a period of two weeks registered in their current states. This series resulted in a slideshow, with 165 images, length 22 minutes.

Part 2: a video which comments on the spaces, places and cultural landscapesof Lisbon, by Mark Deputter, 27-28 November 2007. In this video, Mark speaks about places used by his festival, while the story reveals undercurrents in Lisbon's cultural landscape, appearance and disappearance of venues and cultural organisations, (failed) city investments in culture, gentrification process. Length 32 minutes.
