During the first week of It Will Be What We Make It participants of the project came up with a number of ideas how to engage with local audiences in Lisbon and neighbourhood Santos where the project took place. The first idea, that was then implemented, was to start up a serie of film evenings under the title It Could Be Cinema. The first film screened “Der Lauf Der Dinge” by Peter Fischli und David Weiss, was by selected by Bojana Cvejić. An invitation was made (by e-mail, flyers) to local audiences to propose films that deal with the topic of 'future'. The person who brings the film would make an introduction why the film was selected. The second screening was of the film "EVAZION LX94" by Edgar Pêra, Lisbon based director, selected by Nuno Rebello.
Interestingly enough, there was not much response from the local audiences to continue the screening evenings, and while this format didn't really work out in the new space of Alkantara, the other formats were audience was invited to bring their own things worked full speed.
The last film screened by It Could Be Cinema was "Time of the Wolf" by Michael Haneke.
