STEIM is an Amsterdam-based centre for research & development of instruments & tools for performers in the electronic performance arts. STEIM is also a laboratory, workshop, international meeting-place, production office, live electro-acoustic music theatre and studio and hotel for nomadic artists.
Takuro Mizuta Lippit artistic advisor at STEIM studios will co-host Bytes & Pieces a series of 3 art+engineering workshops together with workshop initiator Tarek Atoui.
STEIM is also providing electronic equipment for the Bytes & Pieces workshops in Beirut 10 -31 May 2008.
