Goldin + Senneby (G+S) is the framework for collaboration between artists Simon Goldin and Jakob Senneby. Based in Stockholm, their practice focuses on the immaterialisation of contemporary society, the emergence of a network economy and the virtualisation of labor. Through actions, theoretical pursuits and wider collaborations they investigate these areas of interest, while continually questioning the process of investigation itself.
G+S has been invited to make an art project as part of the fifth stage of AlmostReal. For this project G+S will set out on a fictional travel adventure throughout Europe which looks European agricultural policies and subsidies. Their European travel expedition will be published in daily or weekly print media. After the journey, their articles and investigations will be brought together in presentations and performances during a public event in November in Stockholm, giving an allegorical twist to current perspectives on cultural funding in Europe.
