Tarek organised a workshop in May 2007 (in partnership with SHAMS arts centre and Ana Lindt Foundation) where he introduced interdisciplinary cross overs between video, digital and acoustic mediums for artists to make their own installation environments. This workshop was held for a group of 20 young artists in Lebanon. From this workshop, 5 art works were chosen by Tarek. These works are by Charbel Harber, Kinda Hassan, Cynthia Zaven Mounira al Sohl and Rawja Tohme. Installation-based works will be further developed by these artists with the mentorship of renown Beirut-based visual artist Lamia Joreige and curator Sandra Dagher.

The resulting 5 media/acoustic/digital installation works will be presented on site specific locations around Beirut, 30 May 2008 in collaboration with the newly established Beirut Art Center. This event will conclude AlmostReal stage 2.
