Since the beginning of AR 1 in 2005, the 4 art and media collectives (WHW, kuda.org, PRELOM and SCCA/pro.ba) have been collaborating together to redistribute their artistic media content into different media formats and spaces. 'Redistribution' here refers to disseminating contents into other media formats and spaces. As for instance with
TV Gallery where the television format is redistributed into an exhibition space. Not only does this process of collaborative redistribution ensure a wider dissemination of media content for different audiences across the region, it's also a means to develop new ways of collective dynamics, ideas and a decisive shift away from a singular author
This idea of redistributing content started when kuda.org and SCCA/pro.Ba first proposed developing a project together called 'Neighbourhood Public Radio' (NPR). This intended collaboration grew into the basis for the wider collaboration between all stage 1 organisations, who, since 2005, continue to exchange and collaborate on developing different media formats and spaces from television, radio, print, internet and exhibition.
