Škuc Gallery has been operating in the premises at Stari trg 21 in Ljubljana since 1978 as part of the ŠKUC Cultural Centre, one of the pillars of non-governmental culture in Slovenia for over 30 years now. In these 23 years of operation, Škuc Gallery has become a prominent international art centre for exhibitions, different art events, publishing and documentation.
Although not supported through AlmostReal, Škuc Gallery has established cloes sooperation and has worked directly with individuals ad organisations involved in AlmostReal, notably hosting and co-organising the SKC in ŠKUC: The Case of Student’s Cultural Centre in the 1970s documentary exhibition in May 2008.
