The production of AR 5 was substantially postponed so that the activities could take place in Stockholm during the Swedish EU presidency in late 2009. As such, artists Goldin + Senneby were able to develop their proposal further and to reconsider the formal output. In dialogue with Maria Lind, the artists adapted the form of their research. Although the general premise of the project is still the same (their research still includes a number of site visits with stakeholders involved in agricultural policy-making and practice), it will no longer take the form of an expedition or travelouge. Instead, Goldin + Senneby will be producing a lecture, written by an experienced political speech writer and directed by a theatrical director.
