Taja Vovk Čepič graduated at the University of Ljubljana in History and Sociology. For many years she worked as a curator specialised in recent history. From 1997 to 2006 she was a director of the City Museum of Ljubljana. She has curated and authored several exhibitions and articles. She is also a member of a judge panel for European Museum of the Year Award and a trustee of the European museum Forum. Taja is currently the Head of Support for Cultural Cooperation at the European Cultural Foundation responsible for grants and programmes.
